Mark 9:14-37
One of the hardest parts of having a mountain top experience is having to come back down and rejoin what we perceive as the real world. When Jesus was transfigured and He and His closest followers came back down, the rest of the disciples were arguing with some of the scribes. It sort of refocused the discussion off from what happened on the mountain and on to the more practical issues people were struggling with. Soon, we may be able to focus a lot more on the mountain top experience when Jesus comes to collect His bride. Until then, we have to deal with the reality that God has given us.
